Upcoming graduate courses at CIIS
In the upcoming Fall 2017 semester (Aug 24th-Dec 15th, 2017), I’ll be teaching an online course at CIIS.edu called Whitehead’s Adventure in Cosmology: Toward a Physics of the World-Soul. It is open to auditors and special students (more info here). Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to enroll.
Also in Spring 2017, I offered a 2 or 3 unit online course called “Mind and Nature in German Idealism.” It covered Kant, Fichte, Goethe, Schelling, and Hegel. The title of each week’s module is listed in the images below. Email me (email@example.com) if you’d like to see the syllabus.
In the Spring of 2017 (late January through May), I will teach a course for the same program called “The Colors of American Philosophy,” which will consider the philosophical contributions of indigenous, African, and feminist Americans to pragmatism (a school of thought normally associated with canonical thinkers like Peirce, James, and Dewey) and American Philosophy more generally.
UPDATE: I’ve decided to delay this course until the next academic year. Stay tuned.
