I enjoyed Levi Bryant’s thoughts on bricolage as method. I’m trying to articulate something similar in the context of Robert Romanyshyn’s “alchemical hermeneutics” for the method section of my dissertation proposal (more on that soon).

RR did some seminal work back in the day (see if you can track down a copy or two of the journal Dragonflies) but I saw a terrible video he did the other day about a kind of hero’s journey to an ice-flow and he seems awfully literal-minded these days in his thinking about poetic experiences without any apparent irony. Have you read Hillman’s “Culture and the Animal Soul.”American Soul/Spring 62

Very cool. I’m somewhat familiar with Dennis Klocek, having had the opportunity to meet him very briefly when I visited the Steiner school in Sacramento.
