I agree, consciousness cannot be explained in terms of classical ‘laws’. Perhaps the problem is that to understand consciousness you have to operate on a higher level of consciousness. Then everyone else will reject your ideas though. It is all very well linking consciousness with degree of information. But why has consciousness evolved? Why is evolution only described in terms of adaptation?
