A bit of cosmocinematic spellcasting inspired by Rudolf Steiner’s Interdisciplinary Astronomy Course
Today was June the tenth.
The year
two thousand and twenty two.
Today,
the Earth continued
weaving its way through space.
Through a space
twisted out of time
by lunar tides
and solar seasons.
A space
that did not pre-exist
our movement through it.
And we,
human beings
on earth
beneath the sky,
on land
before the ocean:
Did we notice?
Did we notice
the sky around us?
Did we notice
the light
being born
and dying
everyday?
Did we notice
the leaves
swelling
and wilting
every year?
Did we notice
the oceans
freezing
and melting
through the eons?
A rhythm
runs through
all things.
We do not notice it
but it stirs us in our depths.
The world
really is
an ocean.
Only,
you cannot drowned
in it,
because
you are already breathing
under water.
The secret
to immortal life
is realizing
you have never left
and could never leave
the cosmic womb.
Even if
within that womb
is room enough
for endless genesis.
What do you think?
