Matt, I actually want to comment on your “Reflections on Matter, Life, and Mind” & Bruce Darner, which I saw on YouTube but don’t see on this site. Anyway, I found those reflections inspired. As you spoke about the inadequacy of current physics & how it should try to account for all that we perceive & experience, nature both poetical & physical, I flashed on Wlm Blake, as I am wont to do:

“What!” it will be questioned, “when the sun rises, do you not see the round disc of fire somewhat like a guinea?” Oh! no, no! I see an innumerable company of the heavenly host, crying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty!” I question not my corporeal eye any more than I would question a window concerning a sight. I look through it and not with it.

What do you think?
