Among other topics, we discuss Iain’s entry into clinical neurology as a result of his interest in metaphysical issues like the mind-body problem, his decision to include a final chapter on the sacred, and the transdisciplinary aim of the conference, which includes contributions from a renowned cast of scholars and scientists including John Vervaeke, Richard Tarnas, Evan Thompson, Michael Levin, Ruth Kastner, Rev.
